The electric control cabinet is also normally built on the liquid cooler unit’s frame. The controller is integrated in the electrical control cabinet and can also be fitted with a process visualisation as required. A Simatic S7 is our preferred choice for this task.
WEISSHAAR liquid coolers can be manufactured and mounted as compact systems or as split systems. With a split liquid cooler unit, the air cooled compressor is installed separately, usually on the façade or the roof of the building. The waste heat from the refrigeration is then discharged outside the building and does not affect the building air-conditioning. We of course provide you with competent advice about recovering energy from this waste heat process.
Only high quality components, which are also locally available, are used in our liquid coolers FKL in order to ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. Depending on the temperature range or sector, the ideal refrigerant is also used in regard to the current F-gas Regulation.
In addition to the need for reliable — also often redundant — operation, we place particular importance on energy-efficient refrigeration at low operating costs when designing our systems. Standard chillers do not generally use modified controllers and consumer pumps. They frequently only offer a heat exchanger through which the medium provided by the customer must circulate. All hydraulic components, such as an equalising tank, 3-way mixing valve, pump, etc. must be designed and installed on-site. WEISSHAAR liquid coolers already combine these circuits "on the secondary side" in the housing of the central liquid cooler. All secondary circuits are tailored to the consumers so that only the actual consumer must be connected. This method is very beneficial if it is used with different manufacturers.
If you add up the entire refrigeration capacity of individual consumers, you get a maximum refrigeration capacity, which, however, is not generally always required. A so-called simultaneity factor permanently reduces the available refrigeration requirements so that savings can usually be achieved by consolidating or centralizing the refrigeration. You can even set up a reliable redundant system by distributing the refrigeration load in a meaningful manner.

We only use parts from suppliers who are also available worldwide or offer service options around the world.
